Since Setien arrived in Barcelona and started being Barca coach, there how been mass resignation at board, social media scandal, allegations of theft and corruption and cut in payments of staff and players have led to financial crisis due to the corona virus pandemic.

Barcelona are currently the leading team in La liga with just two points ahead of their rival team Real Madrid, with Real Madrid right behind them, setien told reporters that Barcelona will have to win all their remaining matches to emerge as the winners in La liga.

All the games will be played indoor to the end of the season and teams will be allowed to use up to five substitutes in a bid to reduce the risk of players sustaining injury because of a very long time off the field.
In response to this new update,Setien said that
"I think this will do us more harm than good,
"Many games are resolved in the final minutes and with this rule change rivals will be able to have more players in the phase of match, when we tend to take advantage of their fatigue.

The current season is the weakest side of Barcelona as their current La liga tally of 58 points is the Blaugrana's lowest haul from 28 games since 2007/2008.
