UFC star Conor McGregor faces nervous waits on key physical test over sex assault issues

UFC veteran awaits "key physical test" and the "examination of film evidence" to know if he will return to prison over alleged sexual assault.

Conor McGregor the legendary UFC fighter was taken into police custody on the French holiday island on Corsica following a complaint from a young woman, he was released without charge after spending two days in custody and has denied all allegations against him.
But the criminal case remains active and he could be summoned before a magistrate later this week.

The lady claimed that the 32-year old ultimate UFC star who is an Irish man assaulted her and showed off his manhood following a drinking session in the upmarket port town of calvi on September 6.

McGregor was formally drawn to the court by an unnamed complainant who is believed to be a woman, which led to French police raiding the fighters £3 million yatch which he parked and lived in while he was on the holiday in Corsica.
He then made his way to the local Tramariccia, Gendarmerie by bike on Friday surrounded by bodyguards and was then grilled by an examining magistrate and judicial police.

A spokesperson said,
“The suspect was arrested and placed in custody by the judicial authority, he was released on Saturday, There had been a complaint pointing towards 'sexual assault and indecent exposure' ”.

According to the sun, an investigator said, “key physical test were carried out on the suspect, but the results will not be known until after weekend. These test are of a routine nature following incidents like this, but they take time to make sure that there's no doubt about them.

“It was also possible that the incident being complained about was filmed. It took place in a very busy place, where fixed cameras are situated everywhere.

“Lot of holiday makers would also have been filming and taking pictures on their phones, so they also need to be spoken to”.
