Someone like you singer, Adele who is 32 years old who recently divorced with her husband is accused of cultural appropriation for wearing her hair in Bantu knots while also wearing a Jamaican bikini.
She was accused of causing offence when she paid tribute to Notting Hill Carnival in a instagram pic.
Multiple Grammy Award winner, Singer Adele was showing off her stunning seven weight loss but unintentionally sparked outrage with the pic, which saw her celebrate her festival vibe with a feather headdress and high wasted leggings.
The photo was captioned,
"Happy What Could Have Been Notting Hill Carnival My Beloved".
Some fans were concerned Adele had been "insensitive" by wearing her hair in Bantu knots-a hairstyle associated with people of African decent.
One of her follower said, "No Sis...We love you but don't appropriate people's culture".
Then another fan posted, "Adele dropped that weight and said it's time for her cultural appropriation era".
Another fan posted, "If 2020 couldn't get anymore bizzare, Adele is giving us Bantu knots and cultural appropriation that nobody asked for....This officially marks all of the women in pop as problematic. Hate to see it".
One follower wrote, "Unfollowing tonight, please note that I'm from London. While it may appear cute to some, to show this type of appreciation, it's not".
Another upset fan wrote,

After the singer posted the pic, tens of thousands of fans called her insensitive and also shared their opinions in the comments section of the post on the singers page.
Despite the large numbers of fans who called the pic and her style insensitive, a number of fans also said that the style was appropriate and that she supported the African style.
