Thiago Silva transfer:Thiago Silva moves from Paris to London,Chelsea confirms transfer.

Chelsea football club has just added another key defender to their already mighty squad after the one year contract deal was signed by the veteran defender, Thiago Silva.The completed deal comes with a one year deal extension if the defender wishes to continue with the his new found club.

The Brazilian central defender's time as a Paris Saint German player came to an end after 8 years of great performance, after they failed to win the Champions League final, at the end of the weekend he opted out to join a English club which later turned out to be Chelsea football club. 

His signing to the club follows the addition of Ben Chilwell who was a former Leicester City player, Malang Sarr who was a Nice player, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Before these new signings, the club had already completed the signings of, Malik Mothersille, Jimi Tauriainen and Xavier Mbuyamba this summer 

It is not yet known if any other player will be joining the club as there are speculations that the captain of Barcelona Lionel Messi might join the club. 

Looking ahead to his new found club: Thiago Silva said,

Thiago Silva has always been known as one of the world most accomplished successful defenders for the last few years, Thiago won the Silverware in Brazil, Italy, France and in international levels in addition to his long list of individual honours. 

No player has won ligue 1 more times than Thiago Silva,he broke the record that stood since the 1960 with his seventh win.

Silva leaves Paris Saint German as a winner, having been a key member of the side that amassed an incredible 23 trophies during his eight years, which includes last season's clean win of domestic silver ware and claiming the ligue 1 title in all but one of his game in French league.
