Disgraced singer, R. Kelly allegedly viciously attacked by an inmate inside Chicago Prison.
American Famous Rnb singer R. Kelly has been allegedly attacked by a prison inmate,the inmate walked into the disgraced singer cell started punching him.
The news source, TMZ announced the information after federal law enforcement told them that R. Kelly who charged with engaging in sex acts with five minors and using threats to keep the victims silent, was sitting on his bed in the cell when the incident happened at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
TMZ reported that the unidentified inmate attacked him because he was angry about detention facility being placed on lockdown a couple of times—largely due to Kelly's protesters outside the federal jail.
The Agency reported to TMZ that the fight between the attacker and R. Kelly didn't last long and it was unclear if the fight was separated by their fellow inmate or by the prison guards.
Kelly was later examined by a prison doctor Who determined that the singer was OK as the check up made on him confirmed that he didn't have any broken bones or any serious injuries.
Kelly's sexual abuse in New York was postponed to September 27th.It was postponed from OT initial date, July 7, because the US District Judge Ann Donnelly ruled that the previously planned date for a trial was not realistic because of the corona virus pandemic. The jugde said at a hearing which was conducted by telephone, that potential jurors would be summoned to fill out written questionnaires on September 14.
Kelly was charged last February by Illinois state prosecutors with aggravated sexual abuse and last August by Minnesota state prosecutors with soliciting s*x from a minor. R. Kelly denied all the wrongdoings.
