Man Utd captain, Harry Maguire arrested in Mykonos after dispute with police.

Captain of the Manchester United Football Club, Harry Maguire has been allegedly arrested in a Greek island because of a misunderstanding between the cops in the island and himself. 

Maguire who is worth £82 million and a centre-back player for his club allegedly got involved in a fight with two men outside a bar on the island in the earlier hours of the morning.
The captain was involved in a misunderstanding with other British tourist then the police intervened and pulled Maguire's mini bus over as it left Mykonos in the earlier morning hours when curfew was in place because of the covid-19 pandemic.

But two of the groups began hurling abuse at the cop and their driver was then instructed to drive to a police station.
Then a second argument rose between the officers and three members of Maguire's group which led to the alleged arrest of the Manchester United star.
The three men including Maguire fought back physically and verbally trying to resist arrest.

According to the Sun, All the three men involved were kept overnight in police custody before they were granted bail the following morning, he his now facing charges of assulting a cop and will be hauled before a prosecutor from a nearby island close to the one he was arrested in called Syros.

Maguire was with a reality star, Chris Hughes in the island before the incident happened.

After the incident, shots and short video footage of the star attending a party and playing snooker with friends has been revealed online as his partner, Fern Hawkins posted  an instagram shot of him and his friends having a good time.
Another picture shows the defender posing for fans who took pictures with him as his named and football praises were poured on him in the party. 

In response to the incident his club, Manchester United said; 

“The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night.

“Contact has been made with Harry and he's fully co-operating with the Greek authorities.

“At this time we will be making no further comments”.
