US files expanded charges against former twitter employees.


The United States Of America has filed new and expanded charges against two former twitter employees and another individual for partaking in the alleged spying of American classified activities and information on behalf of the Saudi Arabian government.

These new charges are part of a superseding indictment,these charges are, the three men have acted as agents to foreign government,conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud.
One of the twitter former employees was also charged with money laundering and falsification of records to obstruct the investigation.

This incident happened fives years ago when the twitter employees Abouammo and Ali Alzabarah, allegedly accessed private accounts with information that was needed by the Saudi Arabian government which includes email addresses, phone numbers, date of birth and then shared the accessed information to the Saudi Arabian government, then in return allegedly received gifts and cash payments after the secret transaction was complete.

Before the they left twitter, Abouamma worked as a media partnership manager at twitter which is where he provide assistance for notable accounts in the Middle East and North Africa while Alzabarah was a site reliability engineer for the company.The last individual named Ahmed Almutairi allegedly recruited the two employees the scheme.
