Rocket lab's 13th launch end up in failure because of an unknown cause amid flight. 

Rocket lab 13th mission to earth orbits,it ended up in failure when it was accelerating out of earth's atmosphere when by an unknown cause that is yet to be discovered. 

As a result of the accident ,Rocket lab lost it rocket and all the satellites that it has onboard before it took the  flight,before the accident the launch was livestreamed to the world but after the failure of the system, the livestream was cut,after which the company explained that the Electron rocket has been lost without yet giving details on the health status of the rocket's pilot or the astronauts who were onboard. 

The Electron rocket successfully took off at 5:19PM ET from rocket lab's primary lab facility on Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand,the launch initially seemed normal and proceeded in a fine condition until about 6 minutes into the launch when the rocket lab's livestream showed the rocket slowing down progressively and it dropped in altitude.

Rocket lab CEO, Peter Beck apologized for the failure of the operation on twitter, he apologized to their customers for not being able to launch their satelites into the orbit ,he also assured them that they were going to find the issue,correct it and be back on pad very soon. 
A company whose satelites was in the rocket named Planet announced the lost of their satelite on twitter also noting that there will be satelites which they are going to launch, The CEO Will Marshal said 
"While it never the outcome we hope for, the risk of launch failure is one planet is always prepared for ".
Planet also cited that they will be launching 
26 of their Superdove satelites on a European Vega rocket in August. 

Rocket lab has launched 53 spacecraft into low earth orbit on 12 separate missions, all it voyage has been successful except it first flight in 2017 that didn't go according to plan which it called a test and the recent one,which just happened. 

The failed mission named "Pics Or It Didn't Happen" was prepared for the sole aim of transporting earth image satelites.It carried Canon Electronic CE-SAT-IB, designed to demonstrate earth imaging technology with high resolution with wide angle cameras,it also carried a satellite called Faraday-1 and five Superdove satelites from Planet company.
