Kanye West's speech at in his first presidential campaign

Kanye West speaks against Harriet Tubman in his first presidential campaign.

Kanye West's first presidential campaign which he held on Sunday in North Carolina ended with some outraged by his speech towards the iconic African American, Harriet Tubman.

Brief History about Harriet Tubman 

Harriet Tubman was an African American woman that was born into slavery.before she died, she was an abolitionist and a political activist that escaped and carried out successful missions to free approximately 70 enslaved African American including her friends and families.

When the Civil War started in America she worked for the Union as a cook, a spy and an armed scout. As she was the first woman to lead an expedition in the war.she liberated 700 slaves at a raid to free slaves from their masters.She created the historical underground railroad to free enslaved Africans at night.

She is an icon for Courage and Freedom to the Black Americans.

Following the campaign West spoke about religion, abortion and international trade, On the event he wore a protective vest and also carved "2020" unto his head,Seven hundred people gathered at the event center with gospel music being played before West gave his speech. 

While giving his speech he went against Tubman, Saying that a project called the Underground railroad that was oversaw by Tubman in 1850 to free slaves "never actually freed the slaves,but just had them work for other white people".

His opinion on Tubman was slightly rejected by the crowd.

He also gave his opinions on abortion,saying financial incentive would be given to struggling mothers to help discourage the practice of abortion which is mainly because of hardship.he metioned how he almost became aborted by his father and how he almost aborted his child.

"There would have been no Kanye West,because my dad was too busy.i almost killed my daughter.even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech.she brough north into the world even when i didn't want to".

Kanye West is supported by one of the richest man in the world, Elon musk. Musk endorsed and supported West for his presidential campaign.
