Bolt launches electric bike service in France.
Following the recovery process from the corona virus pandemic, due to lack of customers using the services of the Bolt transportation company they have had some financial struggles.In their efforts in finding a new revenue source for their company the company has launched electric bikes in Paris, France with plans to make the service to be also available around other capitals or main cities in Europe.
The bid to launch the problem to other parts of Europe might be difficult as, the main company leading in the bike sharing service is Vèlib'.The vèlib aims to further the development of new form of vehicle to to travel across France region that operate alongside other transport company with their bicycles which is around 30% electricity.They are the leading company in electro-bike sharing service in Paris.
A Uber micromobility subsidiary vehicles has been taken off the streets of Paris,Rome,London and other major cities across Europe as their initial company is acquired by a bigger transport company called Lime.
Apart from Bolt which is now going up against it includes Mobike,Obike,Ofo,Gobee.bike.
Bolt can be a better competitor to Vèlib as they have 30 million users in 35 countries and it also operates a scooter service across 21 cities in Europe,their scooter services can be accessed through the Bolt app, Bikes can be unlocked by scanning a QR code.
Bolt is also making it service cheap in a bid to attract new customers to their services, unlocking their bikes comes with 0 amount as only QR code scanning is needed while other companies are paid just to unlock their vehicles.
