Apple confirms that new iPhone won't be arrive in September.
Following previous speculations on the release date for Apple's next iPhone that was rumoured to be in September 2020,Apple has just confirmed that it will be launching it newest smart model later in the year confirming that the September speculations were just mere rumours.
According to Apple CFO, Luca Maestri in an earnings call with investor today ,Maestri said "Last year we started selling new iPhone in Late September,this year we expect supplies to be available a few weeks later.
Before this time of the year, Apple company announced that they would be delaying the production of their devices.
Maestri didn't reveal why all the delays and constraint is happening, Some speculatives that the measure was taken by the company because of the pandemic which has reduced some of their major supplies that they usually import from Asia which was put to an halt because of the lockdown that took place at places that their supplies usually come from in time.
The wallstreet journal reported that Apple had delayed mass production of it incoming iPhone handsets by around a month.
In the meantime,Apple is shipping it iPhone that has already been unveiled during the pandemic, the IPhone SE is among the new iPhones that are being shipped to other countries and continent including India.
The CFO didn't state the exact release date, it was only cited that the new iPhone models should be expected before the end of the year.
