The now trending Nigeria and Lille striker, Victor Osimhen is now the 5th most expensive player in Africa and the most expensive player in Nigeria with a value of 64.3 million euros, which is equal to 29.9 billion in Nigerian currency.
In the French ligue 1 Osimhen is the 5th most valuable player with Neymar Jnr who is worth €82.7 million ,Kylian Mmpape €259.2 million, Marquinhox Aoas €89.2 million, Houssem Aouar €69.2 million ahead of him.
Victor Osimhen was transferred to Lille in August 2019 for a fee of 12 million euros and has a unbroken contract with the club till 2024.

Reports surfaced last week that the 21 year old nigerian striker has been agreed to join the Partenopei,but the player came out and said that it was a fake news.
His manager Osita Okolo affirmed that the striker is not interested in moving to another club in the premier league.
According to his manager
"I can say that for now, Osimhen hasn't agreed anything with Napoli or another club. I can also deny that he dreams of going to premier league.
"I don't know why the press say certain things, Naples is a fantastic city and Napoli are a very good team.
"I'm always honoured whenever I hear these links, but for now there's no deal in place even if negotiations with them are ongoing.
"He wants to play regularly, we are not going to repeat bad experiences from the past.
"The Napoli fans are fantastic ,their stadium is beautiful, I can only speak well for Naples and it teams".
His manager added that the real problem with Italy is that there is too much racism.
"The real problem with Italy is racism,
"I know it happens all over Europe, but in Italy it happens a bit more often than elsewhere".
