Protesters protesting against the fatal shooting of a black man in Atlanta named Rayshard Brooks in Wendy's shop as Atlanta Police chief resigns.

A black man named Rayshard Brooks fell asleep in a drive-through in Wendy's shop, then the police were called to the restaurant because his car was making other customers to ride their cars around him.

According to reports, Mr Brooks failed a sobriety test, and then struggled with the police officers when who were both trying to arrest him, In a video posted online he was seen struggling and grappling with the two officers.One officer wanted to stun him with a taser after Mr Brooks threw a punch at him,then Mr Brooks ran away with a the taser in his hands while one cop chased him gunshots were heard.

According to the FBI, Mr Brooks died later after he had surgery in a hospital. 

The Federal Bereau Investigation said that he was shot in a struggle over the taser, After a video was released online of what really happened,the FBI said that their initial reports were based on the camera on the police officer,after review from the recent video.the bereau said that.

"During the chase, Mr Brooks turned and pointed the taser at the officer,the officer fired his weapon striking Brooks".

The family lawyer of Mr Brooks said that when he was shot, the police wore plastic hand gloves to pick up the shell before rendering a first aid to the shot victim.

Atlanta, which is a majority black city,with the mayor who is also a black woman and took part in the black lives matter movement over the death of George Floyd, After the incident went viral, people took to the street to protest against the death of the black man, and burnt up Wendy's restaurant and blocked the road.

As the events progresses, the Antlata police chief, Ms Shield resigned from her position after she criticized the firing of the police officers involved in the death of Rayshard Brooks.

Ms shield was as chief in 2017 and will be replaced by a black man named Rodney Bryant.
