Mercedes Benz and Ndivia group are teaming up to develop next generation supercomputer for cars.
Following the recent updates on the world fastest computer ,One of the world automobile giants, The Mercedes Benz company has collaborated with Ndivia to make up next generation supercomputers for cars.
They collaboration is to make computing platforms for vehicles that will enable everything from Over-The Air software updates to automated driving systems.
The new system that is reported to be available in 2024 will be based on Indivia's system on a chip technology and the San-Jose-based company's full drive AGX software drive.As announced by the developers the platform will be able to support a variety of automated driving applications,Auto-pilot,Super cruise and maintain driverless parking functions and and be able to use sensor around the environment like the ability to be able to be summoned with remote control.
The Ndivia system can monitor and track a driver's head and eye's to be able to calculate if they are paying attention to the road,it can make analysis on the numbers of blink of the user to know the concentration status, whether the driver is feeling drowsy or not.Depending on the manufacturing preference ,Ndivia says that the car can alert the driver using audio, visual warning to return their concentration to the road to avoid accident.
Ndivia is one of the world known producers of computer graphics and hardwares, it was founded by three engineers, Ndivia has also done business with apple company in 2018, helped Microsoft develop the Xbox console and also assisted Sony in creating the PlayStation console.
