Nigeria ragae singer Majeck Faskek dies at the age of 57 in New York City after a legendary life of achievement were he is recognized by the whole world.
When Majeck Faskek was alive he was popularly known for his hit song titled "Send down the rain" which was released in the year 1991 in his album called "Spirit of love " .
Majeck Faskek focuses on ragae,he was the first african artist to sign to interscope records in 1990 which was a 20 million dollar deal.
Majeck Faskek followed ragae genre when high life, Juju,fuji and afrobeat were dominant in nigeria in 1980'S. He won six US based PMAN music awards.He viewed the founder of ragae, Bob Marley as his role model and dressed like him.
His "So Long For Too Long " hit song which carried a political and Pan African message gained him a major recognition across African countries.
He also appeared on the high profile David Letterman chat show on a US television where he performed "For Too Long ".
His being remembered by Nigerians and his fans all around the world.
