Lille boss confirms that victor Osimhen will be leaving the club this summer.

Cristophe Galtier who is the boss of Lille football club in ligue 1 has confirmed that the Nigerian player Victor Osimhen will be leaving the club and Ligue 1 this summer.

Osimhen came to the spotlight last season when he came out as one of the top goal scorers in 2019/2020 football season, Osimhen who is a benin boy will be leaving the club alongside his teammate named Gabriel.

According to the club manager, Galtier ,he revealed that many offers has been made for the Nigerian player since May.

Osimhen is targeted for Arsenal while his teammate who is also going to be transferred is targeted towards Napoli.

According to Lille coach; 

"Regarding Victor and Gabriel ,yes I've known for a long time that they are leaving.they are working with us for the meantime,we are working on the players who are going to replace them.Of course the club is going to replace him".

The manager said that "Of course the club is going to replace him " citing out that Osimhen replacement is already being looked before his transfer will be made.

Lille football club owner Lopez said that the £72 million paid by arsenal for Nicolas Pepe would be able to get the buyer to sign the signature of his transfer from their club.

It was reported that the Lille defender Gabriel offer has been accepted by the club for £22 million to a serie A club named Partenopei.
