Jim Matti blast Trump in message that defends protesters.

Former defence secretary Jim Mattis broke his silence for the first time since he has resigned from his position in 2018.
In the is new statement concerning the riots and protest all around the US,he said that trump is the only "president that he has seen that does not try to unite the American people and does not even pretend to try".

The former defence secretary sided with the protesters accusing the nation's chief executive of deliberately trying to divide American, taking exception to his threats on military force on american streets and he praises those who are demanding justice for the death of George Floyd.

According to his statement
"Donald Trump is the first president in my life time who does not try to unite the American people, does not even pretend to try, instead he tries to divide us.

"We ate witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort.we are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership.
"We can unite without him ,drawing on the strength of inherent in our civil society, this will not be easy as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens.
"To past generations that bled to defend our promise and to our children".

After this statement which he gave his opinions on the issues affecting the american citizens.president Donald Trump responded to his statement saying that the only thing he and Barack Obama has in common was probably the time they both have sacked him.Citing that Mattis has been sacked two times from the white house.
According to his tweets he said;
"Probably the only thing Barack Obama had in common is that we both had the honor of firing Jim Mattis, the world most overrated General, I asked for his resignation letter & felt great about,is nickname was "Chaos" which I didn't like & changed it to "Mad Dog" .

"His primary strength was not military, but rather personal public relations, o gave him a life things to do battles to win but he "Seldom bought home bacon.i didn't like his leadership style or much else about him and many others agreed, glad he is gone".

The tweet Trump gave about him as a respond did not coincide with the reality story as the reality story said that Jim Mattis resigned in 2018 when he disagreed with Donald Trump's decision to pull US forces out of Syria,Many officials had said that Mattis nickname "Chaos" was changed to "Mad Dog" before Trump became president.

When Mattis rebuke happened it marked an extraordinary shift for retired Marine general who said it was he felt it was his duty to stay out of political activities after resigning as pentagon chief.he had been widely criticized his actions of his service in Trump administration before. The recent tweet has changed the story.

Mattis in his statement ,said that he has watched the events this week and said that protesters have the right to ask for justice of equity under the law.
"It is a wholesome and unifying demand that all of us should be able to get behind, we must not be distracted by a small number of lawbreakers ,the protest are defined by tens of thousands of people of conscience who are insisting that we live up to our value, our values as people and our value as a nation."

Mattis said that the military should be used at home only on "very rare occasions".recalling that when it was requested by state governors in 1992, the insurrection Act was invoked to assist authorities in Carlifornia police beating of Rodney King.
And he also called out the incident that happened at the front of the White House when a crowd of peaceful protesters were cleared up just to allow him go to the church.

"When I joined the military some 50 years ago, I swore an oath to support and protect the constitution.never did I dream that troops taking the same oath would be ordered under any circumstances to the constitutional rights of their fellow citizens.much less provide a bizarre photo op for the elected commander-in-chief with military leadership standing alongside".
