Japanese ARM-based computer is now the fastest in the world.

A supercomputer made by Japanese tech company has produced a computer that has taken a spot in the biannual super speed computer ranking emerging as the fastest computer currently. 
The name of the supercomputer is fugaku.

FUGAKU is a super computer currently being the fastest and is being installed at the RIKEN center for computational science in Kobe, in Japan. It development was started in 2014 as the successor to K computer.
It is built with Fujitsu A64FX micro processor. The CPU is based on ARM architecture.
An ARM architecture is a family of reduced instruction set computing architecture for computer processor and configured for different environment to work in.
It is set to use Linux in a custom Linux distribution.in June 2020 the Fugaku became the fastest computer in the world after surpassing IBM summit.

The computer will be active from 2021,Figitsu sponsors the computer with RIKEN as the operator at RIKEN center for computational science, it uses Linux RHEL 8 operating system, it memory is HBM2 32 GiB node, and it storage is 1.6 TB NVMe SSD/16 nodes.
The Japanese computer tops the TOP500 list of fastest computer in the world.

The FUGAKU computer is the first computer by Japan that has topped the list as the producers of major systems was usually between America and Chinese companies.
