Google to start paying publishers for News articles later in the year.

Google recently announced that they would be paying publishers for their News content as part of their Licensing program. Google said that the platform will form new news experience for users worldwide. 
They also announced that the feature is not available to all countries and it will be available later in the year.

The update of google paying it clients comes after top countries in news articles like France have demanded that they compensate their publishers for News,Articles and other contents they link to for answers for Google Search users. Google announced that later in the year the countries it will be starting the program will be Brazil, Germany and Australia.As Australia has announced that they will be enforcing a law that will make tech platforms to pay for contents in which they are getting access for free.

Following the incident on the payment of free content, Facebook has released a new news feature in the US that will pay some of it publishers in the platform.

Stefan Ottlitz who is the Spiegel managing director said in a statement that their partnership with Google;

"Will allow us to curate an experience that will will bring our Award-winning editorial voice into play, broaden our outreach and provide trusted news in a compelling way around google products".

Facebook is reportedly trying to increase it new news platform that pays publishers to European countries, in the list produced of the countries, any African country is not seen in the list which have kept some wondering if or when an African countries will be added in the list.
