The World health organisation says that United States has not given any solid evidence to back up the claim that the covid-19 was as a result of lab experiment failure.As china says that the claims that the corona virus started in a lab in china is an "insane" theory against China.
Although, the WHO say there is no evidence,the US Secretary of State,Mike Pompeo said that the US had "enormous evidence" to back up the theory they have against China.
But the Trump administration has not shown the generated evidence to the public or provided to the WHO for some reasons.
According to US emergency director Michael Ryan said that the matter remains speculative "so from our perspective,this remains speculative"
He said
"Like any evidence-based organisation,we would be willing to receive any information that purpot to the origin of the vurus"
"Stressing that this was a very important piece of public health information future control"
"If that data and evidence is available,tgen it will be for the United States government to decide whether and when it can be shared,but it is difficult for the world health organisation to operate in an information vacuum in that regard".
Michael Ryan that it was important for the WHO to learn from the Chinese scientist data and exchange knowledge to find the answers together,he warned the WHO about politicising the issue,and said the issue has not been projected as an aggressive investigation of wrong doing,so the WHO should keep politics out of the issue.
After Ryan made this statement chinese state media attacked the claims,calling it "insane and evasive" in a opinion piece that was released on monday.
The statement says "Evil Pompeo is wantonly spewing poison and spreading lies".
The US's senior infectious disease expert,Dr Anthony Fauci said that the available evidence very strong leaning on the virus could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated.
