President Donald Trump, refused to wear a protective face mask on Thursday May 22,when he was told to in the Ford manufacturing plant in Michigan that is one of the major factories in the states producing kits,equipments and supplies for tackling and handling the corona virus pandemic in US.
He declined after he was asked by a worker in the factory that a facemask was required already disobeying an executive order from the states Democratic government.
While he was touring the factory, Ford Motor Cooperation executives wore masks following the company's guideline and policy to always put on facemask to reduce the risk of contracting and spreading the virus,President Trump said that he wore the mask in a location in the company where it was prepared but didn't wear it in public where it would be viewed by cameras and the press.
According to Donald Trump statement
"I didn't want to give the press the pleasure of seeing it"
Across America masks have become a thing rising controversial issues amongst the people, including the political setting, the republicans wanting the lockdown to be raised why the democrats wanting it to stay locked.
Trump cited that he doesn't need to wear a face mask all around because he gets check every day.
According to his statement he said
" Tested perfectly this morning ,meaning I tested negative ".
The president not always having facial covering has been denoted as a non responsible handling of the virus,which has made more controversial topics in the white house.
As the president did not wear mask when he visited the Detroit Air Force airport, also did not wear mask in the visit to the Michigan Ford Plant.
President Trump is currently pushing for the US to stop the lockdown measures and open their businesses in full scale as he said he a statement " Our country is coming back,we did the right thing,but we now want to get going".
