A protester named David Sampson said he came to the demonstration because "I never think i'd see in my generation the suppressing of civil rights over a fake news".

Many other protesters also added their contributions citing that the news around the novel corona virus and the lockdown was a fake news to put the masses under control which is also related to the 5G technology.

Deputy Assistant commissioner Laurence Taylor said;

"With the easing of restrictions fully expected open spaces to be this weekend.

"It was pleasing to see that people were largely in compliance with the government guidance,where they weren't,and after we engaged with them,they quickly were.

"It was disappointing that a relatively small group in Hyde Park came together to protest the regulations in the clear beach of the guidance, putting themselves and others at risk of infection.

"Officer once again, took a measure approach and tried to engage the group to disperse.

"They clearly has no intention of doing so, and so it did result in 19 people getting arrested and a further ten being issued with a fixed penalty notice.
