Derek Chauvin, the ex-police officer who killed George Floyd wife files for divorce against him immediately after he gets arrested and charged with George Floyd's murder.

The wife of the white ex-police man who was once a Mrs Minnesota winner seeks for a divorce the same day that Chauvin was arrested and charged with the murder of George Floyd,

Ms Chauvin has no child from her marriage with Derek Chauvin,she respectfully asked that her children, her elder parents and her extended family should be given safety and privacy during this hard time that their family members faces.

Derek Chauvin was arrested for third degree murder and put on bail for $500,000.

On Thursday it was revealed that Floyd had worked with Chauvin as security guards at a club called El Nuevo Rodeo club, as confirmed by the club's owner.
