White House demands WHO reforms but is vague on details

White House has urged the World Health Organisation to change it terms and policy against China.

Due to the corona virus pandemic links to China the Donald Trump administration has encouraged the WHO to place new terms and policy against China,but he did not specifically say what he wants the policy to be.

Diplomats says the white house has not made these terms clear to the W.h.o,but he made his intentions clear about the funding that was usually given to the w.h.o,Donald Trump made his administration to halt  the funds that were contributed to the global health agency because it was said that the w.h.o eased up the policy and did some covering up of the covid-19 outbreak for China.President Trump said before the funding could resume,there would be a thorough investigation that would take from 60 to 90 days.

Us is the biggest contributor to the World Health Organisation with it annual budget to the Who is about $2.5 billion,$119 million a year in membership dues the,there has been unrest in the white house as some has questioned whether the Trump administration can be able to fully cut off the contribution.as it was called “illegal” by the Democratic house speaker Nancy Pelosi.

A state department spokesperson said that "the action in no way diminishes the US leadership in global  health matters, including the current covid crisis we have ample ability to provide aid ourselves or through other partners to fight the pandemic and we will continue to do so."
He also said that the US state department has us agency for international development has committed nearly $508 million in health,humanitarian and economic assistance.
The US allies and partners has not been able to persuade the white house to stop putting an halt to the funding of the w.h.o.
