Twitter bans all conspiracy tweet talking against the 5G network.
In a recent tweet,twitter bans all post,comments and hashtags pertaining to the conspiracy theories against the new 5G network that has been gaining attraction during the covid-19 pandemic.
5G network is the 5th generation network created and lauched in china,5G network has been said to have been connected to the covid-19 outbreak,to boost it use,it is a new global standard from 1G to 4G,it a new kind of network that connects virtually machines,objects and electronic devices together at the same time.
In a blog post twitter said that it is changing it policies to manage the recent incidents and events to prevent a large flow of misinformation,rumours and fake theories relating to the network.
Twitter safety team said;
"we have broadened our guidance on unverified claims that incite people to engage in harmful activity,could lead to destruction and damage to critical 5G infrastructures"
The conspiracies and fake theories that has been hitting the 5G network is taken seriously by some countries,US stopped the installment of the network in it states,the fifth generation network is yet to meet it peak in the trade industry due to the theories that had been drastically going up against it.
