Fire didn't destroy any records at the AGF'S office,says minister


The minister of state budget Clem Abga says that the fire outbreak that took place earlier on didn't destroy any important office record 

 A fire outbreak happened in the federal capital territory of Nigeria at the Accountant General Office and was successfully put out by National Emergency Management Agency and the Nigeria fire fighters.

The fire started by what was later termed as improper wiring in the department as improper wired circuits was said to have started the spark which led to the fire outbreak,although some other reports said that it was not done accidentally but intentionally to cover the the fraudulent record which was carried out by them.

Clem Agba confirmed the financial transactions of the government was still intact but yet to discover what has been destroyed.

     "We have gone round the rooms and office that were affected and am glad to report to you that all our data centre were all our records are kept are fully intact.

    There is no destruction and we haven't lost any record,as a government i want to assurw you that all our records are intact,a few documents are burnt,we haven't started recorvery to check what was burnt,but all our financial transactions are intact 

   We would be doing a fullscale investigation using the right professionals to determine exactly what happened."
   
   Ahmed idris who is also an AGF said;
"There would be a thorough investigation of the incident that happened.
  For emphasis,our data is intact,no harm in any way except for cooling systems which we are now working hard to put back to operation,we are glad that there is no casualties."
