Aviation workers threatens to stop flight to rivers state

The Nigeria aviation workers threatens to stop flight to rivers state because of their carvaton colleague who is arrested for landing in the rivers state without the rivers state government permission.

    The Nigeria aviation workers threatened to stop any further flight operation for up to three months if the two Caverton pilots were not released from the place of detention.

The National Association of Pilots and Engineers,Nigeria Air Traffic Controllers Association and the flight Association of Nigeria announced that the motives and the operation of the pilots who are now detained in the rivers state was not done alone without the approval of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The names of the pilots who were detained are Captain Samuel Buhari and Captain Samuel Ugorji,they were apprehended by governor wike and other military personnel when they landed in the state without permission on Wednesday at the port hacourt military. 

Governor Wike led the team 
A statement signed by NAAPE President;Galadima Abednego,NATCA President;Abayomi Agoro;and FCAN president;Captain Robert Roland, they said that governor was misusing the executive power,according to the statement "the is noted that the coalition of FCAN, NAAPE, NATCA is to stop all civil operation into and originating from the Rivers State at a short notice for up to three months if the remanded pilots are not released forthwith and tendered an unreserved apology for making them target."
     "we view the action as a blatant violation of their individual rights,unsurption of power and wrongful exercise of enabling status."
     "Apart from being particularly concerned about the flagrant misuse of executive powers as exhibited by the government of rivers state without recourse of the subsisting legislation under which the pilots undertake their professional assignment.we are also gravely concerned about the welfare of these pilots and their dependants back home who no chat must have intense psychological stress."
  "we therefore use this medium,urge the federal government to as a matter of urgency,intervene and ensure the immediate and unconditional of these pilots who have been subjected to this unwarranted punishment not known to the Federal Republic Of Nigeria."

  The minister of aviation,Hadi Sirika said that the pilots have the authorisation of the Federal Government  to operate the flight in the state.
