The African continental free trade area agreement(AfCFTA)is a free trade area agreement,outlined in the African continental free trade area agreement Among the 52 of 55 African Union nations. The free trade Union is the largest in the world in terms of participating countries since the formation of the World Trade Organization.
President Buhari signed the landmark first at Niger and the first step will be to cut the tarriffs for goods within the bloc,which the date of execution has not been announced yet.
The African Union estimate that the signing of the free trade area agreement would increase the active production of these countries(including nigeria)to reduce the importation rate and increase the production rate of the country,and it will increase the trade between African countries.(intra-african trade).
We the Nigerian's really hope this agreement policy would increase our production and reduce mass importation for a better economy.
